KiVa rocks!

Being a great person and someone who thinks of others are some of the most important attributes we can hold. Standing by and watching someone being bullied is actually supporting the bully in a way. Telling an adult is not tale-tattling. Check out our quick drawings today showing what we can do if we see someone being bullied.

Bath Bombs Away!

Our Inquiry focus this term is around marketing.
What better product to market in a few weeks at the Rimu Market Day than bath bombs!

Junior Concert Performance by Rimu 5

Look at our great class doing their fantastic performance today at school.

Discovery Time in Rimu

Here's a snapshot of Discovery Time this afternoon in Rimu 5 and out on the court.

Construction with straws and connectors. This tower ended up being as tall as the girls in a 4x4 formation!

A great buzz in the room with different children from Rimu interacting with each other to design and build amazing structures with straws and magnetic tiles.

Check out this house. These 6 children worked cooperatively to build this.

Some great work this week...

Some of the children have been learning about how to add 9 to any number. We first make 9 a 'tidy number', 10. We add 10 to the number and take 1 away. Next time we'll be working on adding 11 and 12.

Mrs H started some fabulous magical hand art on Wednesday. Here are two unframed but finished products by Wyatt and Marissa....

We're up in the block!

We arrived up on the block last Monday. We're here to stay. There's one more easy move to make into the fantastic room looking out over the harbour. This will happen shortly!
